The country hotel is a four-star hotel at least one star overrated. The location on the busy highway at night a little bit from the view to Melk Abbey compensated. The room did not have a balcony and the windows were the curtains are hard to open. The room is not air-conditioned. The exhaust in the bathroom was loud noises made, after a complaint was the exhaust in a quiet one-and-a-half days then raised again. The hotel is ideally located to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wachau, emmersdorf but a little way out of town. For cycling in the hotel there was a bicycle rental.
Our room (suite bon vivants Melk Abbey) was very spacious, great 'romantic' and (for example, mirrored starlit sky over the bed).
The staff was very friendly, the food in the bar and restaurant areas were superb, lovely it was on the sunny terrace for breakfast-just a hotel to feel comfortable.

Very pleasant stay, the staff was very friendly. Especially to be highlighted are good excursion tips and the wine recommended by the hotel. The check-in process was a breeze.
