BEST WESTERN Maya Ko Lanta Resort

Hotel is located right between main street and beach. Beach is nice, but otherwise there is nothing in the surrounding area (7 eleven on the opposite side of the street for drinks etc.) we only ate once at the hotel. Small selection, waiters understood nothing. Then we went to the restaurant in nearby establishments (by walk distance many), was much more recommendable. Breakfast with eggs in all forms of order was monotonous after a few days, juice from the package also. Beach chairs by the pool and on the beach about a third to less-reservation need or beach chairs at the private balcony. The Maya in Koh lanta is a wonderful small hotel directly at the beach. When we arrived, there was a great surprise, we were during the check in asked, whether we in the deluxe rooms, suite upgrade want, it costs us also not more. We thought we didn't really understood and asked again after, but it was fact, we got to the same price one of the suite. Huge big room with travel bath.
