A informally managed hotel, with a few weaknesses. The hotel is well located, if you get a room with a view of the fjord Bay. Then you have a balcony in the room. On the first floor of the balcony to the neighbor only separated by a chain( privacy it is not). From the second floor the walls are available and stonewalls. The doors are old and it attracts, which in the summer not really bad. There are in the rooms no TV or radio! On our tour we stayed in as told by Beate the overall standard of cleanliness throughout balestrand hotel in balestrand was family. A friendly Front desk was followed by the view from our room 202. Excellent views of the fjord, the past driving Ships and some houses! In the case beautiful weather and bright nights we have to do the balcony use, in order to the countryside enjoyment.
