The hotel building is in for a hotel in Edinburgh typical architectural style and centrally located on the corner of high street North Bridge (Royal Mile) located. Outside of the building is beautiful to look at, inside but in dire need of "in need of strong care". The guests were very mixed. Many foreigners from all over the world, but also the Scottish, her wedding reception there. The house is especially inside in need of renovation. Only seem to have been updated the entrance/ lobby.

Large hotel in the immediate vicinity of the attractions. Many rooms, all typical English. Not very clean. We booked breakfast. Also tourists in the hotel, but it only English spoken. Average age: 40 years for short city breaks ideal. The last night we had a fire false alarms. There was no apology or information! The entire hotel is a renovation prepayment required at time of booking

The hotel looks from the outside and the reception area very impressive. We were warmly welcomed and got our room card. Unfortunately they said it with the room with us. It was clean and attractive, but also very cramped and small. A mini bar was missing, but there was a "Hosenbügel-machine' on the wall ... Fun.
