We have in the hotel four very nice days. All criticism from the past year we don't share. Certainly will play a major role, that the management has changed. There are extensive renovations planned. If all of those ideas are implemented, the hotel can right at the front play along.
But to now. Certainly, facilities for disabled guests getting old, the rooms are not especially large, not the bathroom. It is but everything clean and tidy. A safe missing and the TV is a bit old fashioned.

We stayed for a short wellness and Wanderaufenthalt on site. The location is wonderful, idyllic in the forest location. From there beautiful hiking excursions possible. Ilmenau is good by car to reach. The staff were very nice, helpful and fulfilled also small extra wishes. The cleanliness in the room and in the rest of the hotel was all right. I was passing through and as a stopover is the location was great. The situation in the middle of the forest and with dreamlike beautiful Winter was great.

Most noteworthy is the friendliness and competence in service. Breakfast buffet and dinner are very good. The wellness area is big enough, the indoor pool has a pleasant Temperature and is relatively large.
