Felt very comfortable in the berghotel Simon. For hiking ideal location, options for shopping and shopping opportunities rather scant. However good bus connection to the Rennsteig or oberhof with ski-arena.

For hikers and those seeking relaxation a nice hotel in lovely surroundings. Very quiet location. Rooms are of the standard. The food was good to very good. Wireless Internet not available in all rooms. For handicapped important: no elevator to the rooms! We love to stay there again.
