The hotel was a typical three star hotel. Condition of the pool chairs and umbrellas pretty bad, the beach was nice, the pool was small and nothing out of the ordinary. No bar in the hotel, bottles stood behind a bar tucked away in the cabinets... Zero entertainment, only a dark, not welcoming pub with two (well) jazz musicians. We sat in the lobby, as long as you are not lucky enough to get, a sofa space, on wooden tables with uncomfortable wooden chairs, where the tv was. A beautiful, somewhat dated, middle class hotel. Absolutely three stars. The hotel staff was always very, very friendly and extremely helpful.
However are English (generally in the Emirates) almost essential.
The guests in the hotel were too many from Russlnad.
Besides a few German, Swiss and English.
The rooms are functionally equipped. But with flat screen ☺
German programs: ARD, ZDF, RTL
The safe in the room is free of charge.
The staff were always friendly and tried very hard.

Transfer from the airport to the hotel was not working. We had to take care of yourself and pay for a taxi, at the reception, the money has been refunded but. Bad organization. Al hamra fort the biggest seems to be, a small town with shopping area but only a small selection of hotels in Al kaihma remote-no comparison with Egypt)-) except for shopping center children (Spiellandmit hustle) interest (or taxi) so only with children themselves or if you want.
