Bright Angel lodge lives just the from their location. The cabins, as we had, in visibility the grand Canyon- Rims. It is absolutely not necessary, (expensive) a cabin right on the edge to rent, the others were also only a few dozen meters away from the edge. On the contrary, directly at the rim has committed the hiking trails between the room and the grand Canyon. We would not stay here, or take a more expensive room (there are probably different Kathegorien). The hotel and the rooms are in a very cute antique style decor. The room was nice, but very small, noisy and hot and stuffy. Next to us were noisy Italians, the whole night we heard the mega-noisy ice machine in the hallway and it was 30 degrees in the room. Right on the abyss of Grand Canyon is a great experience. Most visitors of the canyon leave the area in the evening and peace. First thing in the morning you can be Canyon, because you live there. The lodges are done in a rustic, the beds are reasonably comfortable, there was everything you needed (hair dryer, telephone, free safe, coffee machine ... ). If you are looking to stay at a place before and after your hike down to the grand canyon it is a OK place. Do not expect any extras such as TV in the roome, but who needs a TV if the Grand Canyon is outside? The staff is rather rough compared to the "normal" USA experience! Read more
