The good thing about this hotel is the location of 1934. Directly on the Bund (seawall) with its great view of, for example, the Oriental Pearl. One can use the hotel a good base for excursions on foot or with a guided tour guide. The quality is okay but not worth four stars at the most three stars. In the lobby it smelled of sewer. The location is good for a short stay excellent. The hotel shows its age, a good, quiet room with excellent view was first after a surcharge on top of the rate paid at time of booking to receive. The staff was very hard, but with English is difficult.
The plasma tv was a buzz of network, a razor rating, but it was barely used. Extended parts of the corridor, the room was achieved through the, smelled of urine. In the room itself there was no unpleasant odors.
