We were there at the end of July with our daughter arrived and stayed in the tower suite on the castle hotel. Unfortunately, we are totally disappointed. Rauhfasertapete on the walls and furnished. The castle was located very romantic and the guesthouse on half-way. Unfortunately the room was not a warm at the guest house. A booked christmassy Ritteressen with spectacle, with Roland from Georgenberg, witch Viviau and fire show ( according to advertising internet), for 35 euros per person, was more than disappointing! It's just a quaint atmosphere, in an old castle to sleep. To the extremely friendly and competent staff, that every request and also in stress situations stay calm and friendly. The view from the terrace was genial. If you like hiking, has more than adequate opportunity, but also in Dresden it is about 30 minutes with the S-Bahn (city rail) ( table d'hote highly recommended) loved it! Read more

Our annual Summer Festival found this year at the castle: LOADED Altrathen were business partners, employees of several Länder. meeting point was in the afternoon on the terrace with a small strengthen and drinks, followed by an evening of crickets and followed by night. The next day there was a seminar planned for our partners. Everything at the castle. But the lucky ( or the manager) wasn't hold.
