The hotel is within a hundred miles of the best, that one can get. It is certainly a bit off the beaten path in Salach on the mountain. This means on foot you can reach nothing. Therefor you get in terms of friendliness, service, quality and atmosphere much. The award-winning restaurant is also worth it. stayed at the gourmet weekend on burg staufeneck. The award-winning restaurant has really hinsichtslich in quality, service and ambience fully convinced. The standard rooms are exceptionally big and exclusively equipped with a great view of the Filstal. The wellness area was beautiful, a few more silence beach chairs would have wished and a swimming pool you Miss unfortunately. Otherwise, the staff are very friendly and the hotel for all those, which love really enjoy culinary highly recommended. Read more

We were here for a birthday celebration in this wonderful Hotel.
The mere ride up to the castle was beautiful, not to mention the great rooms and the view over the Filstal.
The dinner was fantastic, but I had so far only good part.
For me in good memories of the very friendly service.
My only minor complaint is about the exercise equipment include renewed, but since the owner very sporty, it will probably soon. Read more

I stayed here for a 3-day workshop in this hotel and had no time to use the leisure facilities/wellness area. I was in this hotel was the friendliness of the staff impressed. The cleanliness and size of the room (in main building second floor), which was very tastefully equipped, is simply outstanding. I had the good fortune, a magnificent view over Salach and the private game reserve from my room to enjoy.

Very nice suite, great view! The service was very accommodating without being intrusive.
The breakfast had a large selection-not a normal hotel breakfast, fresh fruit filetiertes for example, directly prepared egg dishes. It was also possible uncomplicated, before the breakfast to have breakfast.
We were totally satisfied! The castle restaurant is highly recommendable.
