The hotel is quite Central, but not downtown as it is right next to the October bridge it was noisy with the balcony doors open, when the door was closed, one heard only occasionally the horns from the cars. The rooms were a few weeks related waste and dirty. The kettle was 'alive ', that is moldy. Light bulbs did not work. Everything was very dusty-right on first sight to see. In the fridge were customers or an open and worn packet of milk bottles and opened. The hotel is surely of the leading hotels in Cairo. In spite of its size (about 1400 rooms) at the guests in the restaurant. Great Hotel, nice pool area, good fitness and Spa area. The waiters could, if you wanted it, we had to often ask to be served, no voluntary us in, even though we had sat at the table and trying to order. In the hustle and bustle of Cairo a small oasis, in which one hardly noticed and traffic of the city. The breakfast buffet with plenty of choice, but would have some meals can be fried longer (omelets, pancakes). Inspite of the small criticism I would book this hotel again. Read more
