The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. The drain in the bathroom clogged and the towels were stained. In the beds there was a large collection of various hairs. The overall condition of the hotel and the rooms can only be described as extremely shabby. Next to the hotel there is a construction site, with a high-rise is torn down. We got a large room with two queen size beds in the sixth floor with view to the Albert Street (small balcony). The room had a kitchenette in a separate room. The decor of the whole room was rather worn, the sanitary plants as well. But it was very clean. All in all a good choice for a short stay in Ottawa because of the location and the price/performance ratio. Read more

The hotel has a good location as a base for sightseeing. You can easily walk to many sights, the parliament Hill is close and definitely worth a visit. I agree with the bus (Greyhound) and left, the taxi from the hotel to the bus station was convenient. The hotel also has two Internet PCs, which you can use free of charge. My room was absolutely in order and always clean. I would recommend this hotel. Read more

Average city hotel. The rooms are surprisingly large and functional. If you want a clean hotel in a central location as a starting point for excursions this is your choice. Only complaint is the parking lot. The hotel was relatively central location. We were traveling by bus. From the bus station to the hotel is within walking distance, about 15 minutes away. Shopping and attractions are within walking distance (about relatively good 5 To 15 minutes). The room was a good size, the bathroom but quite small. On arrival the receptionist was a bit reserved, but no explanation, suggestions or similar. So we didn't eat at the hotel - we had no idea if this is possible or what was offered. staff were great , but teh hotel is old and seriously run down , for that price i could have paid the same amount at the best western and had a more comfortable sleep io would not stay at this hotel again, especially for that price cause i can get better out there teh worst was the park which they charge you $16 , i should have paid the public lot across the street for 10 and i would have been happier
