The Carmana Plaza is a serviced apartment in middle of Vancouver. The hotel has four different we had made on 35 floors. As usual for apartments breakfast is not provided, have its own restaurant is not available, but the location isn't bad. We really liked that every day we got a paper on the door. Less that there was no free internet, this could be booked for $10 per day. The usual guests in this hotel are Asians, but this in Vancouver nothing special, as on roads the majority of from Asians.

The hotel is located right in the downtown core. They provide fully-furnished rooms including large kitchen bar for self catering (market with fresh produce right across the street! ). Many bars nearby. Airport to the hotel is approximately $50 ( is about 35-40 euros). Daily newspaper always on the doorstep and free internet access was also integrated. My room was very modern with LCD TV (2x) a big living area, balcony and large bathroom). The bed was king size and absolutely great! We paid 50 euros per night. Several very good restaurant... As most of the restaurants are expensive relativized wants to high room rate through the self catering (our unit at $205 per night) a word about the weather: we had in our 3 weeks end of August, beginning of September only 3 rainy days, and even though Vancouver due to the proximity to the Pacific Ocean quite "rain" city.
