We booked this hotel as part of a combination trip as Caribbean trip. The hotel was found in the mountains and the sea (with which we have never had a bad experience) the first week spent we on the ship( wonderful!) and the second week was this five star hotel offered. The Catalunya Hotel offers a lot of loud activities in. The whole area is not a four star hotel. If you are looking for peace & the Catalunya Royal book, but unfortunately the whole resort is isolated (next kilometer away about a hotel), excursions were very expensive sold Read more

! Please read this before you book, meant honestly! On the first day it is better to take your bags with to the room, else it takes about half an hour until the baggage carrier brings it up to the room. Then you will get harassed by annoying sellers (each Friday from 14 to 23 hours pushing to sell souvenirs). Food at the beginning it is okay, after 14 days I found it is often the same, except if you go to one of the five restaurants which don't open till 7:00 P.M. and there is a 'long' waiting time in front of the restaurants.
