Centrum Hotel Königshof Hamburg Innenstadt

Actually we had a sister hotel booked, but were few meters here moved. The check in is fast and easy, for 8 euros we got a closed parking. In the area was fine. The main station is nearby and evenings was the road not as populated. The room ( actually with shared bathroom), was about 12 square meters large and had the bathroom in the room. Hotel lies within walking distance of the main railway station; this was important to us, however in a very area with a lot of immigrant background, to see the numerous Turkish shops and gambling, etc.. Breakfast although we had booked, but we never used it. One must put some steps down, to get to the entrance-> no lift, therefore little handicapped accessible. The room was not very clean. Many cobwebs, stained carpet, overhead light was black with dirt, curtains were not properly attached to Rod, beds worn, mold on the wall, towels were gray instead of white. Breakfast was basic, but okay. Staff friendly. For disabled and families with prams not recommended, as there is no elevator. Read more

The booked room with the booked service was assigned on arrival, despite promise on the phone. The management was not on site to speak personally. Disastrous Handling Of Complaints.
