A hotel like a small village... Our Chalet Hotel**** am Leitenhof, is situated at the Wilder Kaiser mountain, with family run atmosphere, Tyrolean hospitality and modern comfort.
The main part of our small resort consists of the reception, our restaurant, the SPA area with a natural bathing pond, the new Champagne Lounge "Salettl" and 4 tower suits and is surrounded by our 11 Chalets and 16 new luxurious suites.
Hotel location
The newly built luxury resort Chalet Hotel am Leitenhof**** is located in a quiet forest edge location at one of the most beautiful places in Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser.
Scheffau is situated directly at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser. At an altitude of 752m., it is the smallest of the villages around the Kaiser with a population of 1200.
First documented as „Skefenouwen“ in 1158, the name was then changed to „Schiefe Au“ , which is the derivation of the present day Scheffau.

The kitchen chef Margarete Hautz and her team will spiol you with seasonal specialities of the international and also traditional austrian kitchen!
You will also find a large variety of vine from our cellar..., austrian, french, italian, spanish, chilenean, australian vine...it never stops!

- a delicious snack at the afternoon
- an 4 course dinner with salad buffet

Our expectations were fully met, and as a travel agent I would recommend this hotel to others! Beautiful scenery, varied hiking trails and two refreshing swimming lakes in the vicinity. Great: lake hinterstein and Goinger panoramic lake with a great slide fun for children. Witches water söll more suitable for small children.
