Chartfield was a delightful venue for our two week workshop. Delegates from around the world were wowed by the venue, the view, the food and the friendliness. As facilitator, I enjoyed the milieu and the work spaces. I found the staff accommodating of our wierd schedules, eager to please and consistent in the delivery of a high quality service. My better half and I had a fantastic weekend and can highly recommend this romantic and charmy place. What impressed us most was that the owners (Florian & Shireen) which are by the way swiss/south-african, are going an extra mile to make you happy! We were lucky to get an upgrade for free in this otherwise quite booked out location. Try yourself and you will be surprised! Read more

Always nice and friendly atmosphere. Gladly one on every question and there were granted helpful information. The Staff, as well as the owners were always ready to give us an impression, we were very happy. The impression was in the rooms, the each day cleaned were as well as the bathroom. It felt like a big family.
We will recommend this hotel to others and surely in the coming years stay here again.
The location is excellent to relax at the beach or for excursions to nearby undertake. With the train to Cape Town or Simen town is not a prob... Read more

Nice guesthouse with a view of the sea! We were welcomed in a very friendly manner. The individual and very delicious breakfast on the terrace is a good start to the day. Very nice Staff, the GF is Swiss and many tips. As a starting point for excursions to the Cape to Cape Town or ideally located. Read more
