The small however very fine Cili EMAS scored with a very pleasant and familirären atmosphere as well as the extremely friendly and competent staff. The resort is in great condition, very, very well maintained. the complex is really nice, so you discover every day something new, for example: the wonderful Tropenpflanzen throughout the resort. It is just a few meters from the beach and even has its own reef nearby. the rooms offer enough space, are very well maintained, clean and daily (and reasonable ) cleaned. the staff are very friendly and helpful. Cili Emas was the perfect place for me upon landing in Bali! Their personable Balinese driver met me at the airport for a seamless entrance into the country, and the staff brought the island's graciousness close in on a daily basis. It was so restful and reviving after the long journey. Located right on the shores of the north coast, with its traditional fishing boats and huts, sounds of the sea and a nearby temple...it is the Real Bali! Not a lot the EMAS Cili resort in the north of Bali's since my last 4-week stay in the November 2010 changed. And that is a good thing!
