From the outside, the hotel is "well" from. This was on the sandstone with the the building is built. Inside it is very homely. A mix of Altromantik and modern. The room was very modern (flat screen TV, large bathroom), kettle with tea and coffee. The dinner was very good. Breakfast was a varied buffet. It sits directly on the oceanfront, great views of either the old town or the Mediterranean sea. Maybe 50 -100 meters and you can get to the main shopping street. I was put on the second floor and stupidly the lift didn't stop at the second floor- so I had to cart my bags up the stairs- would you not put guests on a different floor if the lift's broken? Breakfast was really poor, the stornaway blackpudding was not from stornaway, the sausages were nearly burnt and were so hard you would need a saw to cut through them and they must have been the cheapest sausages they could buy, you could hear all the other guests complaining about breakfast as they were talking at their tables.
