Congo Bongo features 6 private and relaxing beach houses for rental. All located within a private area of 6 hectares (15 acres) with direct access to beautiful Manzanillo beach.

Congo Bongo is located 4 hours south east of San Jose in the Gandoca Manzanillo wildlife refuge at the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica .
The wetlands and surrounding forest areas contain a great diversity of species, many only locally sited, endemic to this area: crocodiles, alligators, otters, wild bores, ocelots, pumas, pacas, sloths, spider monkeys, howler monkeys, white-throated capuchin monkeys, and numerous other species of birds, reptiles and amphibians.
Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
The best snorkeling in the area can be found right offshore. The sea water is safe and no riptide or dangerous coral reefs are reported.
