A total of four nights over new year's Eve in Munich- Harlaching in the derag Max Emanuel. For its three stars overall a very nice constructed and interesting hotel. The minibar was daily free of charge with water and two Becks beer two filled up -Cheers ☺ friendly staff, delicious breakfast, good connections to the market (in five minutes you are at the S-train station Rosenheimer Platz, links in the city) and the charm Including Harlachings close to the German museum to make it a really great hotel. Very good location for a city break. Walk to the nearest bus stop is about a five-minute walk. To the main station only five stops. German Museum is about ten minutes walking distance. The city center in about 15-20 minutes walk. In the environment of the hotel there are several small restaurants and shops. The hotel is a very well-equipped three star hotel in the Munich district of haidhausen in 90er's-design. It is located in a quiet area and provides for an excellent Munich price/performance ratio.
My room was for a single room was very large. The bathroom was quite small, but absolutely fine. Free water and beer in the mini bar were welcome extras. In the morning there was a very rich and very good breakfast buffet.

Whenever I stay in Munich, I try to book a room at the Derag Hotel: it is confortable, the staff is very nice, and it is ideally located in the city, next to public transportation and to shops and nice little restaurant, and to the swimming pool. - in November 10
