The owner wanted us to pay for another night, because we wanted to check out at 10.30 a.m. but apparently you have to check out till 10 a.m. - what!?! 120€ for half an hour?! And during the check-in she hasn´t even said a word, except: "name!" I have never met such a bad and rude person in a hotel. Read more

The hotel "DA MAMA" is for us Europeans more of a B&B or a hotel. Clean, small rooms, with TV (3 channels are in German) with toilet and shower, with Wandventilator incorporating and some with balcony. The boss spoke next to French only Italian, but that is widely in Corsica. The location is right in front of the Rue Marechal Juin, which is the southern APPROACHING street to Porto Vecchio, about a fifteen minute walk to the heart of the old town, or about 10 km to the sandy beach of Palombaggia Beach.
