we were very pleased with our stay here, it is a pity there are so few guests. The staff is very accommodating and friendly the manager Vara Assi is an understanding the guests the heart reads. There are many animals around the lodge Elefantenherde it around a wanted to take with us but he called our driver take Safari for fast loosely. At the breakfast we were robbed of a monkey since we were shocked but we wanted nature contacts and we had plenty. We hope this will continue to be the lodge. This hotel was recommended to us. We were quite satisfied with it. There were only five guests at this time. The staff was very nice, it was on the first day a Vorstellungsrunde where everyone with its jurisdiction has presented, which I found very good. The food was for us a la carte. There were usually two starters, two main courses and three desserts to choose from. The food was more in the direction Indian, Asian, but very, very delicious!HCLFHLThe rooms were a good size (no tv) with a direct view of the hippos and crocodiles.-priceless!... Read more

The David Livingstone lodge is a quiet hotel directly from Mara Shikar Airs trip and Mara river. From the rooms you can see the hippos in the river, the evening lit up. The hippos in the evening to leave the river right next to the terrace-great for watching!HCLFHLThe food is simple, with a small selection of food in buffet style (soup, salads, main courses and desserts three more). However, the hotel is under new management for several months. The new manager is very active there, the hotel was more than just satisfying to bring. The rooms ... Read more
