Djerba Mare Beach Resort

It was an older hotel, which really needed renovation. One positive point was it was handicap friendly. And all inclusive in this hotel was exactly that. We could have everything really always. But I must say, that the guest structure mostly were elder Austrians and Germans. But many families with children were there too. The hotel was older and it needed renovation here and there. Everything however was clean and neat. The beach (with exception to the washed ashore seaweed), pool area, general hotel area and the rooms were absolutely clean and left nothing more to be desired. The rooms were large and conveniently furnished. The age was apparent, but the rooms were clean. The service was always friendly, the staff was very helpful. Wonderful hotel with all the trimmings, the only minus - it is already run-down. Catering - All inclusive, nationalities: many French and Austrians, very few Germans. Average age structure: few youth, some middle aged people and about 50 % senior people. Size and cleaniness of the rooms o.k., unfortunately got a little bit older. Because Magic Life is already somewhat older, the rooms are a bit worn out. The rest of the facility is otherwise really very nice and is cleaned the entire day. The staff are very friendly, and the food is also exquisite. Our children (6 and 9 years old) felt really well. Read more
