The dodo hotel in Riga is located on the outskirts of the city centre, is however by tram of the city centre (bus stop directly in front of the door). It has a small room and no offers comfort, it is however very cheap, relatively new, clean and the staff are very nice. You can compare it with the bed & breakfast hotels in Germany. ... Therefore, we had a couple of concerns. The Dodo Hotel is however immaculate. It is new, the furnishing modern and clean. The front desk was very nice and spoke acceptable English. The guests were German in our floor as I could read the vote, because the walls were a bit thin, however. We only had breakfast taken (for 4 €per person). This was for the relatively small hotel but varied and delicious. With the tram (1 minutes footpath) one arrives in 6-7 minutes to the city center. Respect for Handtaschendieben! The Dodo hotel is a relatively new Low budget designer hotel in the Muscovites suburb of Riga. The situation is good and one reaches the old part of town with the Tram or with the taxi in about 5 minutes. For a city trip we found the Dodo very good. The price performance ratio is unbeatable and we the whole stay very well felt. Rooms are not roomy particularly, but in good taste and decay furnished. The beds are comfortable. The price performance ratio is correct. To reach with the streetcar in few stops from the city center directly. Two small business (one is 24 hour opened) in direct proximity. Breakfast: Blows Crêpes, which one can prepare oneself sweetly or pikant. Eggs, cheese, jam, cucumber, tomato, muesli might be sufficient for a few days. Coffee, cocoa from full automats.
