The hotel is located about a ten minute walk north of the White House, tight 1 kilometer from the nearest u-bahnstationen away. There are also some restaurants and shops. The gastronomy in the hotel we didn't used. For sightseeing, the hop-on hop-off buses from Union Station (family/ticket 85 $, adults 35 $). About 25 $fee in the hotel per day, difficult and expensive in the city centre. The rooms are of average size, for a short stay with family usable.
