Our week in the Hotel Europe was excellent in every way.If you want to be in a quiet but well appointed hotel then this is the one for you.The staff were exceptionaly helpful and the hotel could not be faulted.We had a wonderful view of the Matterhorn and it was peaceful and quiet at night.Easy access to buses to go either to Klein Matterhorn/Riffelalf or Sunnegga lifts.The Spa is one of the best that I have seen.Although we did not eat in the hotel at night due to the children being put up in an appartment also owned by the hotel,breakfast ... The hotel Europe is the family J. And its staff lED. The restaurant is with good reason michelin guide entfohlen. Every evening a varied 5-course menu served. Especially worth mentioning there is the desserts buffet, that each guzzler the tears in the eyes of floats. The bar is very comfortable, very well equipped and led. A absolute great hotel with a host family, which it today in this kind of hardly more! We were the first week in a room in the main building houses. This rooms are classically decorated with dark furniture and carpeting. The rooms- decor was not more brand new, it made you by the direct view the Matterhorn with a big balcony compensated!

Denise and myself strongly recommend this hotel for several reaons: Spacious rooms, excelent breakfast, the dinner is really the best of the hotel (very good 5 course dinner), nice new spa facility, great location in center of Zermatt.
