The Gästehaus am Schlosspark Güstrow is a nice bed and breakfast hotel in a unique peaceful and central setting, right by the impressive renaissance castle in the outskirts of the historic Old Town. All places of interest are easily reachable from here. The hotel features a large foyer with a lobbybar, a terrace, a winter garden, a fireside room, a lift and conference rooms for up to 80 people.
Our 115 rooms are appointed with shower, toilet, TV, internet access for in-house modems and partially with a small kitchen with refrigerator and cutlery. The family rooms additionally have bunk beds. Cots and high chairs are available upon request. There are ample parking spaces for free by the hotel as well as a Bett & Bike station with bicycle cellar and bicycle rental service.
The Barlach Stuben restaurant is located right beside the hotel and will fulfil all demands.

the cleaning of the rooms? In of the kids kitchen we could still see, what the predecessor was... Spaghetti and tomato sauce.
Even worse the bathroom -the pure Schimmellandschaft. This has nothing to do with cleaning of the rooms, but with pure negligence to do! It was really awful.

The hotel was once a former Hospital, has 3 floors with different size of the room, 2- bed, 3- bedrooms. Room price inclusive breakfast. Average age about 25 years, partly have, but also couples.
The rooms are simply furnished. Bathroom spacious but nothing special reasonable designed. We had a kitchen in the room, which we did not use however. Otherwise we should have had with the küchendunst sleep needs.
