The hotel in general
The Garni & Residence Helvetia you will find at Niederdorf in the south tyrolean Hochpustertal, close to the Lake of Toblach and the very famous Three Peaks-Tre Cime,12 km from the most famos lake, the “Pragser Wildsee” in Prags, Innichen or Cortina d’Ampezzo.

Hotel location
The "HELVETIA" offers a wonderful view over a breathtaking chain of Dolomite peaks, part of the world natural heritage. It is a five minute walk to the centre of the village “Niederdorf” and to the spa gardens of the newly opened “Kneipp facilities”.

We offer a rich, full breakfast, where we use only local products.

In choosing the food we attach importance to ensuring that high quality is guaranteed by the local producers and that long transport routes should be avoided.
The Garni Helvetia also has an elevator, a large parking lot and a garage for bikes and motorcycles.

Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
The Garni Helvetia is the ideal starting point for hiking, climbing, biking and mountainbiking tours through the entire Pustertal Valley or to the enchanting Dolomites, as for the world famous Three Peaks (Drei Zinnen), the Dreischusterspitze or the natural preserve Fanes-Sennes-Prags.

Of course, you can also undertake trips to the famous Dolomite passes.

Niederdorf is also the venue of the famous „Dolomiti Superbike Race“ the hardest Mountainbike Race in the Dolomites.

The central location of Niederdorf is ideal in order to reach, by car or public transport, a variety of different ski facilities as for the „Helm“ and the „Kronplatz“ (Crontour).

Extensive cross country slopes for all levels and a variety of destinations for alpine skiing complete for sure also your most demanding “winter dreams”.

In case, of course, there is also the possibility to go on a day trip to Venice, to Salzburg, to Trieste, to Klagenfurt…

Hotel room/Accommodation
The Garni & Residence Helvetia has 17 spacious rooms with balcony or terrace.
The rooms are equipped with toilet and shower – some of which include a bidet.

The apartments are built with natural construction material of the region as for different types of solid wood (Swiss stone pine, larch, spruce) which create, alongside with the simplicity of our furniture, an atmosphere of wellbeing. The scent of pine, larch or spruce increase the pleasant living environment.

All apartments are equipped with a tailor-made kitchen, including all necessary kitchen units as for an electric ceramic stove top, a dishwasher, an oven, a fridge, a coffee machine, a safe, with two bathrooms with toilet, shower, bidet, linen and a furnished balcony.

Comfortable beds with natural mattresses are further ingredients for a pleasant sleep. In order to avoid any electromagnetic pollution we consciously decided to keep the rooms free from any electrical equipment.
