141 rooms, lofts and suites, a variably equipped conference area, a restaurant, a bar and a spacious wellness area as well as 60 parking lots in front of the hotel and 20 underground parking lots for free fully satisfy these demands in the former coal warehouse of a Hamburg gasworks.

The Gastwerk Hotel Hamburg is just six kilometres away from Hamburg City and is situated in the midst of the ‘Forum Altes Gaswerk’, a listed property with a large park and gym. And just a few minutes away from the centre of Ottensen with its many restaurants, pubs, galleries and boutiques, as well as cinemas in the Zeisehallen. The strategically convenient location in relation to the A7 (exit: Bahrenfeld) guarantees uncomplicated access to the airport.

It was our third visit to this all together very beautiful hotel. The location in the west of Hamburg for trips to the city of Hamburg was rather inconvenient, but for excursions at the Elbe or events in the O2 arena or in the stadiums is the location great, exactly like the binding to the A7.
Unfortunately the restaurant is staff during the apart from that very tidy breakfast often inattentive or didn't seem very professional. If you didn't watch out, the still half full plates under the nose pulled away. The annoying.
