The hotel is somewhat isolated, located alone on the beach near Collouire, making it a poor choice for anyone who did not have access to a car.

It wasn't priced according to what it offered: rooms were small, the "design" aspects of the hotel are overplayed as they are nothing special, the wi-fi didn't work properly, the railway line and road are right in front of the hotel windows and balconies; the heavily featured spa bath was extra at 15 euros for a 45 minute stint; overall it just didn't seem to us to be good value for the amount we paid, which was a lot, for an old concrete 60s hotel that has been revamped to a decent standard, but is nothing special.
