In the premium sector of Berlin is the Grand hotel certainly one of the five star hotels in Berlin with the largest potential-there are details, the difference-it starts with not announced construction, with the business only 1 lift of three, too few Outlets in the work area, with Concierge staff, the uniforms in the back and the front of the hotel not fit and that you all serious from a hotel guest 9 euros entry in the sauna requires-per visit (!)-just a cheek. Were for the second time in the Grand hotel Esplanade and were again fully content, will certainly also in our next Berlin stay again.
In comparison to my last visit, the breakfast buffet, as well as the service for breakfast again improved. Also is very recommendable Harry's new York bar, the cocktails are excellent and especially the bar boss is always present and around the satisfaction of the guests to care. This is just a great impression -> strong praise!

The hotel is very central, nevertheless are in the immediate area hardly options for shopping or restaurants. The rooms are reasonable, a renovation but would not harm. The breakfast buffet was reasonable but more also not. For me the hotel has no 5 star! Read more

We were for the first time in the esplanade, US felt very comfortable and gladly again come. The stay with bad weather the very friendly staff in all areas of the hotel however ' sunny'. The room was good equipped, quiet and comfortable. The spacious bathroom, as well as enough room for bags and clothes matched too our expectations. The breakfast offers a wide choice. In short: we felt simply day and night really well cared for and looked after. We recommend the Esplanade and look forward to the next stay. Read more
