The location of the grand Hotel Opera must definitely be described as central, because the Hotel in the immediate vicinity of the train station and bus station and therefore in the centre of Gothenburg is located. The airport bus stops almost right in front of the hotel, so that you from the airport, take offers easy access to the cost of an expensive taxi ride which we can save. The reservation for three rooms at the grand Hotel Opera on booking. COM, immediate after checking in we intervened at the staff at the front desk and asked for another room. Unfortunately without success!
The assigned room had the standard of a portable-upmarket. Soap, Shower Gel, Lotion Non-Existent.
The breakfast was for a hotel of this category borderline.
In the breakfast area one could take to one of the dirty tables capacity.

Room was just as 'in the old building ' flag, which was not bad. For four stars and higher price but the room was very bad, small and ugly inner courtyard and the Windows bed for two was much too small and worn. Location and ambience of the reception area is okay. But the pool with about ten €per person extra outrageously expensive! Was unfortunately not included! Furthermore, the information at the reception poor, only in hindsight as it was too late to know, that there is a extra charge for the parking garage. The breakfast was good. Read more
