Our hotel is located in the quiet central of Badenweiler, surrounded by own large park overlooking the Rhine valley and the Vosges. Badenweiler is located at the foot of the southern Black Forest, in the three border triangle Germany - France- Switzerland, between Freiburg and Basel, in the heart of the Markgräflerland.
Gastronomy in the hotel
Whether regional, mediterranean or international, the executive chef and his team pull out all the stops of fine cuisine with zest and passion.
But guests also appreciate the hotel's classic aspects, while unstressed newspaper reading or listenting to first class piano music. The management of the hotel since the beginning of the year 2011 has changed, a new, very positive wind in the house. The Director of the house, Mr Hall, has a positive effect not only on the hotel staff transfers, but-and this is very important-also on the guests. There were four days in the hotel Romans bathroom. The hotel is large and charismatic, The bathrooms are good, but it was missing the shower curtain, which meant every time you showered a flood. Otherwise everything was okay, we will definitely go back again any time. Read more

If you want a modern hotel is in the wrong place Badenweiler altogether. The place has its best days behind itself, but has the Charme of the past. If you're looking for peace and quiet this is the place to stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Old, but large and clean rooms. Great pool, old, but clean. Read more

Indoor Pool unfortunately not usable, as was the water.
Area around the outdoor swimming pool was not well maintained.
Children's playground was not usable.
Had mold in the shower, no star hotel and certainly not for a five-star hotel.
Breakfast for three would be enough.
Elevator to the indoor and outdoor pool was a bit scary.
