We were thrilled by the hotel and the room, especially as modern bathroom stood out. There were no faults with the cleanliness of the room. We had booked half board and were satisfied with the meals. Drinks were not too cheap, but bearable. Unfortunately too few outdoor seats in the dining area. The pool is nice laid out and a real refreshment (in October the pool was colder than the sea). Meals are, unfortunately, not enough seasoning, it could be more regional offered. Extensive buffet, always fresh fruit, nice salad bar, always freshly grilled meat and fish. Free place space in the dining room. Fitness room and sauna with pool are okay. Connection was always poor. The staff was very friendly, complaints that was solved immediately. In our room on arrival there was a small bottle of drinking water with a Thomson Platinum welcome card-I suppose you have to be thankful for small mercies but our holiday was not cheap and in my opinion it is almost insulting.

If you don't have a pool view room or a 5th floor suite, then you end up with a view looking over the extensive green steel air conditioning ducting which runs all over the top of the restaurant area - not something you want to look at when you are on holiday.

Air con in room stayed on 24/7 without putting card in slot so was fantastic, bathroom was very modern (only a shower but wow what a shower it is lovely) the frosted glass on bathroom door took some getting used to !

Just returned from this hotel after a 10 night stay, we went Thomson Platinum class so where expecting a good 4 star hotel, we where 2nd drop from airport and met by lovely younge lady who met us off coach and welcomed us to hotel, went in and booked in no problem the staff on receiption alway very polite spoke perfect english and excellent, we were offered juice on arrival then made our way to our room.

Im telling you about Shipwrecked because it good to know as the food in the hotel is definately not 4star breakfast is fine, usual hot and cold with fresh bread to cut yourself but look out for the cold sprouts and carrots !

On arrival we were given room101 we wallked in and went onto the balcony It overlooked the carpark loading bay and a dirty flat roof We returned to reception and asked for another room on the garden side as shown on their website Sorry all full It then cost me 240 euros to upgrade to a suite Nice view on the top floor under the roof top bar and it's speakers The hotel is nearly all germans and this is the language that is heared in the bar, the kiddies show ,and the evening If you are english you are blanked The restaurant is vast and the serving area small You have to queue with a small plate for most dishes lotsof which run out It's a bit like euston station Sorry this is not for us
