If to Easter the Christmas decoration in the windows and in the entrance area hangs one has already just a funny feeling... This was confirmed by :
Receptionist totally uninformed and guaranteed from the hospitality industry. Room dirty, especially carpet and bathroom. Defective, down hanging blinds. Mold in the bathroom. I was on my request for a smoking room in room H16 accommodated. The room unfortunately, smaller than a broom closet and the bathroom open separated therefrom. The bathroom reminded strongly an airplane bathroom. This is neither dry nor sakrastisch be, but is unfortunately the truth. The most annoyed me however the room service/cleaner service. friendly nice hotel.
the furnishings is a bit old but comfortable. You should not think you to the Hilton drives.
for normal expectations it is enough. There is a jacuzzi and a sauna.
we were in the spring since, as you can not so much about the area say, since much is closed and the excursion destinations were still closed.
the food was very tasty.
the room (we were in the main building) was commodious and there is also a modern TV.

The hotel is very well located (we had a room with a view of the park.). However, we used the hotel as a base for visiting Celle (on arrival), Herbert, Walsrode and in the Lüneburg heath. All in all, a nice hotel for short stay. The family room was very nice and very spacious, the kids had an extra room on our door. The decor is very dated and the tv is from time immemorial ☺ but all in all it is a very nice and quiet hotel.
