The hotel in general
The house of the fisherman is a unique house. It is build just a few steps from the beach between trees and grapes and all these makes the house of the fisherman the number one destination for years. The owners wife has lived many years in Germany and speaks accordingly well German. In the bay of Psakoudia, sheltered from the wind the house looks idyllic. The sunset is something that can’t describe and you are from those people who have the opportunity to be a part of this scenery. All rooms have direct beach access which you call “private beach”. The owner regularly organizes barbeque nights and if you are lucky “ouzo” will be replaced by wine made by the owner. There are enough parking spaces for your car. The house of the fisherman is suitable for families or pairs who search unusual places for relaxing. The owner is a fisherman and sometimes he takes the quests (who are close to his heart) out in the sea with his boat for fishing. Then the fishes are grilled and all together make a unique company.

On the coast between the Kassandra and Sithonia peninsulas, is the seaside resort of Psakoudia. With its superb beach, clean waters and excellent weather conditions, Psakoudia has become a favorite of holiday lovers. It is located in the middle of Chalkidiki and it is the ideal start to many tours.
It is close to Polygyros, the capital of Chalkidiki, Nea Moudania Port and near the Thessaloniki airport. In Ormylia, is the biggest womans monastery in Greece with a great historical background.
The ancient city of Olynthos and the Petralona cave are some of the must do tours in Chalkidiki. At Psakoudia also, you have the oppurtunity to visit Mount Athos with the every day shipping tour. The public feasts that take place every year in Chalkidiki are realy interesting and something that you will not forget.
The best fruit and vegetables, directly from the farmers, stands every day left and right of the road from Psakoudia towards Nikiti. Also every day, in a different village of Chalkidiki a market takes place.
In Psakoudia, visitors can enjoy drinks and meals at the beachside cafés, bars, restaurants and tavernas. The place compines night life and relaxed holidays. All the taverns have realy fresh fish and other delicasies to taste. Several souvenir shops and a silversmith invite you to stroll.

Also during the winter Chalkidiki is very impressive. The air is clear and the view of the cliffs opposite in Cassandra and the mountain Olympos at 3000m, with the snow peaks are some pictures that one can't describe.

Our service shows high-level. Our quests don’t have to care about anything. Our prices include final cleaning, towel and bed-linen changes as well as electricity and hot water.

Hotel room/Accommodation
The house of the fisherman has 6 apartments in total. 3 of them are double rooms with terrace and sea look. These unities are suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. In the equipment you will find air-condition, WC, shower/bathtub. The kitchen is equipped with fridge and required cutlery. The big flats are ideal for 5-6 persons. The house is clear and tidy and because of its unique position you have to book early.
The local baker Nikos Karpetis comes every day, around 9:00 clock with his small van and the guests can have each morning on their terrace or balcony, breakfast overlooking the sea and the incredible beautiful bay.
