The room was, although small, was really nice equipped. Unfortunately you could only lowered view, wanted to see the many dust and cobwebs not, the hung... The Duscheall was equipped with a water heater, the evening was priced, so definitely not directly under the shower, there was once a few minutes only cold!
Therefor the Hauhälterin was super nice and helpful, just like the rest everyone Scots, I have met. So if you didn't like it too strict and nothing against stains on the stool and other dirty cobwebs and windows, there were well cared... Read more

Typical British tourist hotel consisting of three buildings the block from the turn of the century. We were warmly greeted and was served directly on our English tested. But no problem, they tried hard to understand. within walking distance is 10 - 15 minutes in the city. Breakfast was typically Scottish and OK. Nice hotel with very friendly staff within walking distance to the center of Edinburgh. Unfortunately no restaurant, but with fat full Scottish breakfast. If you're looking for luxury, this is not the place to go. Well connected to the city center through the buses.
