Hersonissos Village is a 4 star hotel situated in the outskirts of Hersonissos, and being on a hill side enjoys a breathtaking view over the Hersonissos bay. As a result of its position the hotel combines the calmness of its location, a near by beach, and the cosmopolitan life of Hersonissos town in a harmonious manner.
Hotel location
Hersonissos town is located approximately 25 km from Crete’s capital, Heraklion and its national Airport. Hersonissos is a cosmopolitan town with vivid day and nightlife located on the northern seaside of Crete. Because of its location in the near by area one can find the main attractions of Crete, the Knossos archeological site, the Knossos Museum, the Cretan aquarium, and an 18 holes golf course. Further more there is a big variety of different museums, churches, beaches and traditional villages one can visit within a short drive.
Gastronomy in the hotel
Our food and beverage program runs at an All Inclusive basis which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and local beverages at the main and snack/pool bar at a daily base and a Greek folklore night every two weeks (May-Sep). Our outlets operate for breakfast from 07.15-09.45 and dinner 18.30-21.00 at our main restaurant which enjoys an astonishing sea view. For lunch our snack bar is open near the pool from 12.30-14.00. For beverages the main bar lounge is open from 18.00-23.00 and around the pool bar from 10.00-18.00.
Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
In the main house of Hersonissos Village Hotel & Bungalows **** one can find a calm lounge area near the bar, a satellite TV room and an internet corner. Sport activities consist of a tennis table, billiard table, beach volley, mini golf, 8x8 football field, tennis field, basketball pitch. Parking is also available. Greek folklore nights and B.B.Q evenings are held every two weeks, with the participation of local bands and dancing groups.
Hotel room/Accommodation
Within our traditional garden lays a Greek village comprised out of 90 bungalows, 59 standard rooms and 11 maisonettes. All rooms are equipped with telephone, hair dryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, safe deposit box, refrigerator, bathroom with bath or shower, terrace or balcony for your comfort. All rooms are furnished and decorated in the Greek traditional style.

After we were there at the end of a week vacation May in our beautiful 'mountain' had spent, we were there for two weeks and enjoyed it very, very good. The friendliness and willingness to help of the entire staff we just great. Although the hotel was fully booked, it came rarely to waiting periods at the buffet or at the bar. A fantastic small area. The morning view of the ocean was breathtaking every day. The guests came from Poland, Russia and Germany. The atmosphere was perfect. The staff was very friendly. First I was a little worry from this hotel, because of photo and Rate I get to this hotel in 04:00 am get the room in 4:30 (the check in is in 14:00) Have a breakfast; I get the room number 3009 near the small pool (Travels with my wife and 2 children 4 and 6 ) The service was great (the waiter get tips from us) the food was ok All include between meals there was cold drink (orange and lemonade , ice cream with 4 Flavors, and sandwich) , there is a tv in the room with Greece station even the mtv in Greek The room is ok , you have Air conditioning (you can't leave the Air conditioning on when you not in the room –you have a card for the electric ) The Breakfast and Dinner was in the restaurant and the lunch was in the main bar near the pool The pool is clean , you have pool for children , there 2 pool area one that serve drink and stuff the other less crowd , be know this is 4 star hotel , you fell like 4 star There isn’t evening Culture at night.

I personally recommend the beach, which is one of the best ones I have been to, you can take a walk to town alongside the sea and stop for a nice cup of Greek coffee in one of the nearby beach cafes.
