The Hilton IRU fushi in the Maldives is absolutely recommendable. A place which you make you feel welcome. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The employees weren't pushy and it is not an attempt to sell something. We had no problems with mosquitoes and other bugs. The complex hotel is very well maintained and is permanent kept in good shape. The villas are twice a day cleaned. The furnishing of our villa let us nothing miss. We have just the fourth Times IRU fushi booked and we are looking forward, if the May starts. We love the island and describe it as our second at home.
The additional costs are really a bit high, but if you are like me only a week vacation in the year power, adopted these costs in purchase. Yes you can treat yourself ;-)

Service, cleanliness and food were fine, the staff was very attentive and our villa with beach pavilion a wonderful oasis of tranquility. Even worse: If you´ve got a beach villa on the east side, you might find yourself living in a waste dump (sandsacks all over the beach), with a horrible view to even more sandsacks in the water not at all the paradise-island feeling you´ve paid and craved for!
