As a connecting station after Überseeankunft and above was satisfactory (Maui, BRITZ, backpacker 500 meters away) great. Recommendation: Before departure make smart, where the hotel shuttle at the airport leaves. Contrary to the official statement is the shuttle bus free.
From the distance to the city not mistaken one make let. No taxi, but city shuttle bus ( recommendation the front desk, thanks for that!). Costs only about half as much as a normal taxi, Easy drive to port Auckland 35 NZD. Read more

It is situated about 15 km far from the center of town. Unfortunately we could get not easy to get to. A Hotelbustransfer or similar. There is not. Taxi return would cost around 60--..... The airport-hotel transfer was, even though it was a airport hotel is not free. They allowed us $20 extra ... When we asked again as it was cheaper in the city center the reception was little help. The hotel is just ok if you are between 2 flights only spend a night-but it is a hotel next door, the offer free airport transfers. Read more
