Very comfortable hotel. Two countries " house " and " Thuringia Hotel Bavaria ".
Our room was on the ground floor (Haus Bayern), terrace, very friendly and tastefully decorated, you feel right at home. Televisions are installed in the closet. Spacious bathroom.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

We had four families booked this hotel in apolda for our short holiday inn, because for us in Weimar no suitable object was to be found. Either was all too expensive or not suitable for families. The ' two countries' has pleasantly surprised us in all respects. The large rooms were great. Next to the 'main room' with a double bed, closet, table, etc. there was an alcove with a pull-out sofa, which doubles as a second room, so that overall we had four people easily. Convenient launch pad for Sternfahrten in the surrounding towns (for example Erfurt, Weimar, Jena, naumburg, Dornburg, nordhausen and bathroom being solved, note: Monday-Friday museums closed). In our very large terraces-double room ( smokers) on the ground floor were when we arrived the windows were closed and the blinds heruntergelassen. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke, which itself as a smoker very unpleasant. Evidently, the room was barely aired, as the next day when we at night from a nice trip to Weimar arrived. the same: all windows were open morning, locked again during our stay and the blinds.
