If you want a clean cheap hotel in new York for sleeping searches it is ideal. Why an expensive hotel book if one anyway the whole day in NY is? It is clean and comfortable. Not too big but as mentioned, for sleeping it was good enough! Hotel is central and just in 10 minutes to time Square and so on what else could you want? We were first skeptical a 1-star hotel to book, but the positive reviews, as well as the hitherto 100% recommendation on this side decided to book... And we were not disappointed. We stayed with 3 adults a double-/ twinbed rooms with private bathroom. The bathroom seemed to have been renovated recently. The room was also not run down at all, but in good condition. Somewhat older but nevertheless clean, central hotel. In my opinion rather suitable for persons without children. Staff was friendly, rooms were every day to our satisfaction cleaned. It was in the room via menu a 24 hours Delivery service for food and drinks offered with relatively wide choice, which we however not tested. The front desk has around the hour open. the hotel is well located in a lateral road, from the you in 10 minutes footpath on the fifth avenue is. At the end of the lateral road is a café, where you good and delicious breakfast, because catering is in the hotel not available. The is however absolutely no downside, because in new York you should anyway not in the hotel food ☺ the rooms are although small, but really reasonable! In short, we were completely satisfied. Rooms are relatively small and the furniture a little outdated, therefor everything was very clean and neat (daily room service including Hnadtuchwechsel). The 'public' washrooms in the hallway were also flawless, waiting is usually not. Next to the reasonable price convinced the central location of the hotel. If you don't set importance on unnecessary luxury or pomp and want to spend money elsewhere be better (there are lots of possibilities in NYC), should choose this hotel. Read more
