The bathroom has its best days behind it and is in need of renovation. The hairdryer was old and broken. Absolutely not usable. Despite complaints nothing has changed. The carpet in the rooms stepped down and dirty. The staff at reception and the service only speak Flemish and do heavily on French to reply.
The hallway was narrow, dark and musty.
The hotel advertise with 4 stars. Altogether corresponds to the hotel not a four-star hotel.
Specific Meal time in the evening, not as usual a time window, the restaurant resembles a cafeteria.

The hotel was essentially that our expectations. In comparison to a German 4 star hotel, the rooms were a bit small, but perfectly adequate. Apart from a small mini-bar, there's a tv with several international channels, among others. The breakfast buffet was okay, there was a selection of cold cuts and cheese, cereals, among other things, as well as yogurt and fruit salad, and a selection of bread and rolls. Our room was at the back in the courtyard. The room and bathroom were very clean, but the condition of the bathroom not a four star hotel. The bathroom was, as said, very clean, but outdated.
The breakfast buffet was very varied and wide and left almost nothing to be desired.
The staff at the front desk, and the staff at breakfast was very professional and very friendly.
For a short stay in Ostend the hotel is absolutely recommendable.

A few steps away from the sea and a few steps in the city (several parking garages nearby). Very friendly staff, tasty breakfast, sausage and cheese but what about little selection. Coffee only at a machine (free of charge); he is with the morning rush of guests often annoying lines.
