For us the week was just beautiful. We had a room with seaview (so in the lower area) and the view of the ocean was just great. It was a blissfully quiet at night. Was particularly pleasant, that always enough beach chairs available. Around 11 hours as several pools. The staff was very friendly. Many speak German, but English definitely clear. There are two supermarkets were in the immediate vicinity. The next place however is quite far away. ( Go up the hill about 30 minutes, 20 minutes).
