The location at the Lexingston ave. Is great! Sometimes the hotel with 4 stars advertised-this is it definitely not. Three star are OK. We had a standard 2-queensbed room on the fifth floor to Lexington ave. Back, which was OK from the size and the noise wasn't disturbing. The air conditioning was partly somewhat 'hard'( way too cold or way too warm), particularly as she only central and not individually from the room from can be regulated. The room was cleaned daily, however not very thoroughly, especially the corners in the bathroom have b... Read more

The hotel does not look stunning, but inside is more modern and in very good condition. The view from the roof-top bar was fantastic. Unfortunately we had children under 21 years during the Hours of operation are not allowed. The bar is not open on Sundays.
The 1 -bedroom suite was huge (particularly for New York). It is a modern decor and not as plush as some other hotels. The bedroom was with a fantastically comfy king size bed. 2 "Kids" slept on the sofa bed in the living room, which was not so comfortable but ok. For the third child we... Read more

The hotel has 3.5, depending on description also 4 star. The matches our observations quite good. It has over 300 rooms, all fairly new. During our stay there were primarily Americans in the hotel. It was probably not the typical tourists Quartier. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Grand Central Station). We had booked only Child policy without breakfast, it was in the area of the hotel was also plentiful. The rates were took some getting used to though.
The rooms are serviceable large and well furnished. QUIET, but not adjustable air-con... Read more

The hotel hot now Affinia Shelburne. Restaurant and lobby are a matter of taste. We had a one bedroom suite and got a 2 Bedroom suite with a balcony. Nice could not New York City can experience! There is a rooftop terrace with a view of the Empire State Building, the hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Grand Central Station. In the immediate vicinity there were loads of possibilities to buy, breakfast and snacks. We stayed at the hotel only used the room service, the average. The apt had a kitchen, but without any dishes etc. . No coffee or ... Read more

Nothing was dirty or out of sorts, it's just that for the money I spent and the trendy vibe the hotel portrays, I wanted something more than poorly made furniture with the paint peeling off.
