Hotel Africana Sea Lodge

A bit scruffy, reserve your sun-lounger at 6am otherwise no chance, pool not very inviting No-one expects great service and atmosphere in a three-star hotel in Kenya, but you should be able to count on it being clean. No fresh bedding- traces of previous guests were clearly noticeable. Shower curtains are going mouldy. Furniture already almost decomposing. Reception friendly and hard-working. Monotonous meals (when still available), missing drinks (no water, tonic, wine, gyn), sluggish personnel, air-conditioning, telephone, radio without function and an overburdened management who didnt care about the drawbacks.
