The design hotel is located between the EuroAirport (3 min.) and the city centre, the SBB train station and the Basel Exhibition Centre (each at approx. 7 min.) – all can be reached by our free shuttle bus service. The complimentary services of WiFi throughout the hotel, fitness centre & sauna as well as the underground parking make the Airport Hotel Basel a perfect place for business or leisure guests. Hotel location
The hotel is located between the EuroAirport (3 min.) and the city centre, the SBB train station and the Basel Exhibition Centre (each at approx. 7 min.) as well as in in the immediate vicinity of the Grand Casino Basel. The hotel is 300 meters from the French / Swiss border and you will require no Motorway pass to pass between the two on the Motorway A35. Bus 50 (Euro airport shuttle) stops directly outside the hotel and transits between the SBB train station and the Euro Airport. (Bus stop: Friedrich-Miescher-Strasse)

The hotel offers you a free shuttle bus service to the airport and the Swiss train station from 6.00 hrs on (upon availability and request). Further destinations in and around Basel upon request.
If you are travelling by car, just park it free of charge in our secured underground parking during your stay.
Every guest receives a Mobility Ticket with which you can use the public transportation (bus & tram) of the city Basel free of charge during your stay.
Our additional services free of charge: WiFi troughout the hotel, Business Center, use of Fitness & Sauna, a Welcome Drink, a bottle of water in the room as well as free entry to the Grand Casino incl. a voucher for a drink.

Large and clean, bathroom, with the washbasin in the room needs getting used to
If the restaurant is full, the customer should informed to be.
Our surprise was very large, when we arrived in the restaurant and front desk staff were quite abrupt, that the restaurant was fully booked and there is no capacity for us. Our objection, that it hotel guests but possible it should be dinner was dismissed by saying, that there were no table would be available and we went to the management of the hotel should apply.... It would be an increase of friendliness, cleanliness and atmosphere have to be for at least another five more suns this will be assigned.
There are nothing, but also nothing at this hotel to complain about. I haven't get any friendlier staff in a hotel who we met. The rooms are really super nice, large, clean and had real comfortable-character.

At front desk there are fruit bowl and basel treat the dining and bar areas were lacking. I spent one of the most miserable nights of my life at this hotel because the air conditioning did not work - and was never fixed.

The hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful BUT the room was much too hot (in October), the bedding was winter-weight, there was no mini-bar or kettle (upon request, hot water was sent up promptly in a mug); the airport/hotel transfer bus was good, and the ticket granting free public transport use was an excellent idea.
