Hotel Akrathos Beach

We want to soak in some sunshine this year and it worked (almost). Only a bit of rain and a heavy dose of sun. Ocean was still lovely, if a bit colder than in June. For three, a five stars hotel gut. You can not get food at the only, the choice of food was not too big, but the Quality was good. The hotel is located two hours away from the airport and very close to the hotel there is not much. But for a pure beach holiday it is highly recommended, because the beach and the pool were really great. We planned a 14-day stay, but one day we decided to change hotels because the first 3 days came a bit late. The reason for this was that the room was very noisy due to noise from the street and clairaudience within the hotel itself, so we couldn't sleep. As the bathroom had no lights, it was difficult to say anything about its cleanliness. The cupboard in the room was broken at the back, very dirty and was no place to hang clothes. Beautiful hotel on the hillside with wonderful views. Our room: small but nice and for three persons total sufficient. Safe free of charge, we didn't need the air conditioner, since we always slept with the balcony door opened. (Thanks to the 'night porter' no problem!). Staff very friendly and efficient. Both the quality and taste of the drinks: sometimes great, sometimes not so great, but we were always full. Entertainment for children was available, unfortunately not for adults. If you're looking for peace and modesty is here in the off-season really. In the hotel there are neither on the day nor at night some entertainment. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available by the pool and on the beach available to get. Staff are very friendly and accommodating the service. Cleanness was capitalized in the whole area was large.
